About Me
Aenet C.'s Biography

Hello, my name is Aniya Chue, and my pen name is Aenet C. A little bit about me: I am from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I have dealt with Depression since I was 7 but was diagnosed through therapy at 14. I discovered my passion for writing and poetry during my middle and high school years. I also like singing, dancing, and being with my family and friends any chance I get.
My favorite poets are Maya Angelou and Emily Dickinson. I love how they expressed themselves in their work and how their upbringing influenced the women they became. They are so relatable to many generations and I hope I can be that inspiration for someone else.
Growing up, I was an avid reader I would read chapter book after chapter book, cereal boxes, road signs you name it. As I got older I started to minimize the amount of reading I did. I had lost my passion for reading and had a tiny attention span. When I started writing my book I wanted something that would appeal to teens and young adults like myself. My motto is "One voice affects many" and my mission is to connect with as many people as I can and help whoever feels hopeless find their voice. If I can touch one person with my work, advice, etc., and they go out and help someone else and so on then I know I did my part.
